Cosehans Care Foundation was founded by Dr. Abigail Hanson, a trailblazing Ghanaian-Chinese doctor, social entrepreneur, and international speaker. With an unwavering commitment to social change and a wealth of experience working with marginalized youth in Ghana, Dr. Hanson's journey began with her deeply ingrained philanthropic nature and the profound influence of her mother.

Driven by her passion for making a meaningful impact, Dr. Hanson embarked on a mission to positively transform the lives of underprivileged individuals in her homeland. This vision came to fruition with the inception of the Health Awareness Project in October 2020. The project aimed to raise awareness, identify risk factors, and promote self-reported screening practices for breast cancer among men and women at the Tema Fishing Harbour and 37 Station. The resounding success of the Health Awareness Project propelled Dr. Hanson forward, leading to the official establishment of Cosehans Care Foundation.

As a lecturer at Pridemed health Institute, Dr. Abigail Hanson brings her fervent dedication to education and empowerment to the forefront. She firmly believes in nurturing the next generation of African leaders and providing them with the tools to thrive.
